04/27/2012 - FSU propels aerospace and aviation research
On the day of the third annual Florida Center for Advanced Aero-Propulsion (FCAAP) Symposium, Florida State University officials cut the ribbon on the new Aerospace, Mechatronics and Energy (AME) building. The new facility features 60,000 square feet of state of the art equipment and labs designed to support cutting edge research.
04/26/2012 - FSU student is named national Goldwater Scholar
Florida State University student Dan Stribling is one of 282 college sophomores and juniors to be selected for the 2012-2013 Goldwater Scholarship. Stribling’s research focuses on ‘protein recognition in biochemical systems’, which could help lay the foundation for developing drugs to help combat disease in the future.

04/16/2012 - It's an entrepreneurial feeding frenzy at Florida State
The long-awaited "Shark Tank" round of the InNOLEvation Challenge got under way as 10 student-business start-ups faced off for $250,000 in cash and in-kind services. It is one of the nation's largest collegiate business plan competitions, hosted by the Florida State University's Jim Moran Institute for Global Entrepreneurship and the College of Business.
