Were you or someone you know "born to rage"? Stunning research by Florida State University biosocial criminologist Kevin Beaver links a single, mutant gene to aggressive or violent behavior -- and one in three males in the United States may carry it. "Born to Rage" aired on the National Geographic Channel's "Explorer" this December. The special television episode will focus on the "warrior gene" uncovered by Beaver and, in addition to an interview with the renowned FSU criminologist himself, the colorful cast of real-life characters will include an ex-punk rocker, outlaw bikers, mixed martial arts fighters, Buddhist monks, gang members, and former NFL linebacker Dick Butkus. A DNA test will reveal which ones carry the warrior gene. Who was born to rage? Tune in tonight to find out: http://channel.nationalgeographic.com/series/explorer/4833/Overview#tab-Overview
