FSU announces Spring 2011 Faculty Luncheon Series
Over the next several months, four Florida State University researchers will discuss some of the ways in which FSU is moving forward in critical areas of knowledge during the university’s Spring 2011 Faculty Luncheon Series. All four luncheons, which are open to the public, will take place at the Presbyterian University Center/Westminster House, 548 W. Park Ave., in Tallahassee.

Reservations are required for each event; a catered hot lunch will be provided at a cost of $9 per person.Reservation requests may be mailed to the Presbyterian University Center, 548 W. Park Ave., Tallahassee, FL 32301, with a check made out to the Presbyterian University Center and clearly marked “Faculty Luncheon Series.” Alternatively, reservations may be made by calling the center at (850) 222-6320 or sending an e-mail to bac4259@fsu.edu. Payment may then be made at the door. All reservations must be made by noon on the Thursday prior to each Tuesday luncheon.
Parking adjacent to the building will be available, courtesy of the Presbyterian University Center.
Those attending the events are asked to arrive by 12:15 p.m. for lunch, which will be followed by a presentation and a question-and-answer session.
Each of the four distinguished speakers is an integral part of Florida State’s innovative interdisciplinary faculty hiring initiative.
