FSU medical students to co-sponsor health fair

Students from The Florida State University College of Medicine are co-sponsoring a health fair from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday in the Springfield community of Tallahassee, along with the Leon County Health Department, Leon County Sheriff’s Department and Tallahassee Fire Department.

The students are members of FSUCares, the American Medical Women’s Association and the Pediatric Interest Group. They will offer health screenings, classes about healthy lifestyles for women and several informational booths, and there will be outside games for children. A bloodmobile is scheduled to be there from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
