Experts on Aug. 23, 2011, Earthquake in Eastern United States
The Florida State University has internationally recognized faculty researchers who stand ready to comment on the 5.8 magnitude earthquake that shook parts of the eastern United States on Aug. 23. They are:

Tull is an expert in structural geology (the architecture of the earth’s faults), global tectonics and fault systems. He has special expertise in Appalachian geology/tectonics, the area where this quake occurred.

Kish has special expertise in remote sensing and geographic information systems.
